DMC Department Administrative Order (DAO) No. 2007-29 Practice Test

In lot surveys, Section 107 allows using either Electronic Total Station (ETS) or GNSS instruments. This gives you the flexibility to choose the method that fits the site, project needs, and accuracy requirements, as long as you follow the DAO’s procedures and document the work properly. ETS provides traditional angle and distance measurements, while GNSS gives position coordinates via satellites; both approaches can produce the needed lot boundaries when integrated with proper control, adjustments, and field procedures. The other options are too restrictive, since the section does not limit you to just ETS, just GNSS, or only total stations.
